A while back I saw a ton of artist taking a shot at doing their take on Calvin and Hobbes. This weeks subject there fore is the Funny Pages. Take your favorite comic strip and make it your own.

Better late than never amirite?

Its Duke giving Scarlett a new Crossbow. Snake Eyes is pissed!. In the comics they always had this love triangle thing going on. I figured i'd cute that idea up.

Week Worth of G.I.Joe's

I did a week worth of Joe's this week. Only got around to coloring the first three days worth though.

They are SnowJob,Flash,Croc Master,Chuckles,Bazooka,Shipwreck and Cobra Commander.

Week Three - G.I. Joe

I am still not done with my post for the week, I will scan and post what I have done a little later this afternoon. When I do finish it up I will update with a completed scan.

For this week's subject I am choosing GI Joe. There is a new channel on my cable provider that showed up last week called the HUB. They have been playing a lot of cool old shows. One of them is the 1980's GI Joe cartoon. So for this week the subject should be your favorite Joe or Cobra character.

Little late, could not figure out why I could not post last night... Helps if you are signed in with the right account.

The scan job is not the best on this. I didn't have access to my pens and couldn't ink it so I had to scan the pencils.

I really wanted to do one of Hard the Duckula, but it never got beyond the rough pencil stage.

Week 1 Marvel/Universal Monsters crossover Ironman and Mummy Mat Nixon

Heres my take

Iron Man vs the Mummy.





I was thinking about how Iron Man faces all these crazy villans like The Mandarin, Fing Fang Foom etc. But what if in his early days he came across the Mummy? I mean before you get jaded by supervillans everyday, seeing the Mummy would shock you.

First Foxford topic!

In the spirit of Halloween the fisrt topic is MArvel/Universal Monsters! Either do a crossover of your favorite Marvel or Universal Monsters characters or do a hybrid character. for example FrankenLogan or the Creature from the X Mansion.

Hi Cool Cats

Just a first post to say hi. This blog is open to artists of all abilities as the main intention is to get new artists to draw. Artists block is something we all suffer from and this blog is an attempt to get around that.

The only rules are that you have a twitter account(its easier to keep track of everyone that way) and that you try to update once a week (if not cool). The theme will be determined on a Sunday and entries will be posted on a Friday.

You would also need to make a Blogger account in order to participate. It takes almost no time especially if you have a Gmail address.

The first theme will be posted once enough contributers have signed up(say 7 to 10?). I'm going to ask some of my favourite artists on twitter to join and from there we will add more contributers.

Okay i'll be tweeting about this soon.
